Full Sail University Online Month 16 Musical Arrangement Review

This month I found out that Full Sail had a new degree program called Audio Production. It doesn't go as deep as music production (which I recommend). I also got my first EP on iTunes this month in school. Musical arrangement was a fairly easy class check out the details below.

This course focuses on developing an understanding of the nature and limitations of acoustic and electronic instruments, as well as effective formulaic techniques for successful arrangement. Instrumental families utilized in the course include bowed strings, woodwinds, and brass. Arranging techniques explored include pads, two-part melodic harmonization, and mechanical voicings. Additional course topics address creating a musical score, exporting MIDI data from Sibelius, and mixing tracks in Apple Logic to create a synthesized performance.
